Gisoo Zahedi Hypnotherapy

Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 28, 2026  ·  Last updated: July 28, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Gisoo Zahedi Hypnotherapy (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit gisoozahedi.com (the “Site”), book a consultation, or communicate with us. We take your privacy seriously — particularly given the sensitive nature of the work we do.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

When you use our consultation or contact form, or contact us directly, we collect the information you choose to share, which may include your first name, email address, phone number, and any details you include in your message about what you would like to work on. By submitting the form, you consent to being contacted by Gisoo Zahedi Hypnotherapy regarding your inquiry.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, certain information may be collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies, including your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring pages, and general location. See Cookies & tracking below.

2. Cookies & tracking technologies

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use them in the following categories:

  • Strictly necessary — required for the Site to function (security, load balancing, form submission). Always active.
  • Functional — remember preferences such as language and prior choices.
  • Analytics — help us understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it.
  • Advertising — used to measure and, where applicable, personalize marketing. We do not run advertising cookies without your consent.

Your choices

When you first visit, a consent banner lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies, or choose by category. You can change your choices at any time by clicking “Your Privacy Choices” in the corner of the Site. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. Where Google services are used, we operate Google Consent Mode, which withholds analytics and advertising signals until you consent.

3. How we use information

  • To respond to your inquiry and schedule consultations or sessions.
  • To provide and deliver services you request, including session materials and aftercare.
  • To operate, maintain, and improve the Site.
  • With your consent, to measure Site performance and marketing.
  • To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

  • Service providers who help us operate the Site and practice (for example, hosting, scheduling, email, and — only with your consent — analytics), under obligations to protect your information.
  • Legal and safety recipients when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of you, us, or others.

5. Your California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose.
  • Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information.
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information.
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

We do not sell personal information. To exercise your opt-out or any right above, use “Your Privacy Choices” on the Site, enable the Global Privacy Control in your browser, or contact us at gisoop@gmail.com. We will respond as required by law.

6. EU/UK (GDPR) rights

If you access the Site from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your personal data on the lawful bases of your consent, our legitimate interests in operating the Site, and to take steps at your request before entering into services. You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing, and to data portability, and you may withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact gisoop@gmail.com.

7. Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here or as required by law. Consistent with our practice: audio recordings of sessions are delivered to the client and are not retained by us after delivery, and session notes are stored in encrypted form, never sold, and never shared except as described in this policy or with your consent.

8. Confidentiality of sessions

What is shared in a session stays in session. Information you disclose in the course of consultations and sessions is treated as confidential and is used only to provide and support your care, except where disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect against a serious and imminent risk of harm.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children’s privacy

The Site and our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Health disclaimer

Hypnotherapy is a complementary modality and is not a substitute for licensed medical or psychological treatment. Information on the Site is for general purposes only and does not constitute a therapist-client relationship. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please call or text 988 or contact your physician.

12. Changes to this policy & how to contact us

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, by additional notice on the Site. Questions or requests regarding this policy or your personal information:
